War of the Watchers: Book One From Baal to Balfour - Paperback

The land of Israel has been a battlefield since before the Flood of Noah. Powerful angels called Watchers have conspired to take it from the people to whom God promised it through the Hebrew prophets.

Now, as Israel fights its latest war against an Islamic enemy, many Christians around the world are turning against it in the misguided belief that Israel is not the fulfillment of God's promises, or Israel is not the "real Israel," or that Israel is not deserving of Christian support.

In War of the Watchers Book One, Derek P. Gilbert reveals:

• • The conflict for control of Israel is a supernatural war that goes back to the Garden
  • Evidence that the Watchers who rebelled against God may be imprisoned beneath the Sea of Galilee
  • Why Joshua targeted the Anakim during the Conquest of Canaan
  • Where Jesus declared war against the fallen Watchers to reclaim his land
  • Events in the 19th century that sparked the Zionist movement
  • Why the Balfour Declaration did not create the modern state of Israel-and how little the Rothschild banking family had to do with it
  • How the promise of a national home for Jews was almost immediately walked back-especially after Arabs discovered oil

War of the Watchers Book One pulls back the curtain and exposes the dark forces behind the humans at war for the land God declared to be His:

For the LORD has chosen Zion;

he has desired it for his dwelling place:

"This is my resting place forever;

here I will dwell, for I have desired it. (Psalm 132:13-14, ESV)
