Waiting for Sunday - Paperback

Grief is excruciating, especially when loss is sudden or traumatic. In one moment, a normal life can be ripped from your fingertips leaving you empty, lost, and sifting through the broken pieces of what once was. The unexpected passing of my mother in 2017 left me with more questions than answers, especially when it came to my faith that I had from childhood. It was in the pain that I found Jesus again--this time with desperation. This book includes my story--raw, honest, and the lessons that God showed me as I tried to heal my broken heart. It highlights some of the most pivotal moments of frustration, emotion, and eventual breakthrough through the hardest season of my life. In each chapter, God wants to show you His goodness, which is presented through my personal experiences, Scripture, and God's very voice. Grief feels like Saturday--the day between Jesus's death and resurrection. But Sunday is on the horizon. Jesus was resurrected, defeated death, and was set free from the trials of this world. Today, He still wants to free His children and give them hope. To anyone who is grieving, feels stuck, or heavy, He wants you to know that Sunday is coming. Grief doesn't have the final word--He does.
