Vidal's highly-influential, booming grooves helped pave the way for the arrival of electro freestyle during the 1980s and it's subsequent revival in the late 1990s. Never one to rest on his laurels, the studio whiz and producer extraordinaire both mines and modernizes the sound of the movement.
