Victor and Victoria

Aspiring chanteuse Susanne (Renate Müller) agreed to bail out her ailing mentor, drag performer Viktor (Hermann Thimig), by subbing in his act-right down to posing as a man for the closing reveal. Of course, she's an immediate hit-and her keeping up the pretense leads to a bemusing series of romantic entanglements.
