Vespers- a memoir in verse is an intimate autobiographical collection of poems by a man whose life has been anything but ordinary. Raised Catholic on the streets of Chicago, the author charts a soulful journey through the city's grit and grandeur, capturing the quiet revolutions of a life lived in search of meaning, recovery, and grace.

From behind the wheel of a cab to the pre-dawn rhythms of a bakery, from the heartbreak and healing of addictions counseling to the sacred silences of chaplaincy, these poems are witness to a man who has seen humanity in all its raw and radiant forms. With reverence for nature, music, and art, he finds the sacred in the everyday and invites readers to do the same.
