Dimitri Vassilakis is Greece's No. 1 jazz artist and to his achievements on his three preceding Candid releases, he now shows US his impressive vocal talents in addition to his already accomplished saxophone playing. Recorded both in New Jersey and Athens, Dimitri is backed by smart New York musicians Theo Hill, Essiest Essiest and Sylvia Cuenca and top Greek band members. Juliet Kelly and Kamaria Ousley supply the additional lead vocals and backing. Highlight of his American tour is a concert at the Onassis Centre in New York City.
