Conaty provides insightful introductions to each recording in the enclosed illustrated booklet. Highlights in Volume 8 include a rare Yerkes Dance Record, a wild performance of Dinah by Billy Costello (voice of Popeye the Sailor) jazz harp from Casper Reardon gorgeous Bix-like cornet from Gus Deloof and a previously unissued rare live 1933 broadcast by Vincent Lopez and His Orchestra. 79 minutes.
