Barclay, Dawn M.: - Dawn M. Barclay (who writes fiction as D.M. Barr) has been writing in the travel field for decades, first as a travel trade journalist and later as a book author. She is the 2023 Lowell Thomas Gold-award-winning author of the autism travel bible, Traveling Different: Vacation Strategies for Parents of the Anxious, the Inflexible, and the Neurodiverse (Rowman & Littlefield, 2022). Dawn also won the First Prize-Other Writing award from the Society of Professional Journalists in 1992 for a story on travel law.
