McGowan, Cat: - Cat was born in Surrey and moved around before finally settling in South Wales where she lives with her two adorable but rambunctious children and their fluffy Cocker Spaniel. Cat has a theatre degree which she put to good use while co-running a successful theatre company for several years. She wrote all the plays that were performed by the company and continues to write productions for a children's drama group in her town. Writing novels is her new passion and she hopes that many more will follow One Christmas Night. Cat loves to travel and, when she can't, she relies on books to transport her to different places. Her free time is primarily spent with her kids, often climbing trees, doing arts and crafts or eating cake.
