Larry A. Zucker received his BA in English (Creative Writing) from the University of Redlands and his MS in athletic administration from Cal Poly Pomona. In addition to working for many years at Cal State Fullerton as Senior Associate Vice President of Development where he developed million dollars galas and auctions, he has worked as a consultant for more than a hundred nonprofit organizations, including many universities. Despite the fact that Larry founded the Gavel Group the day before the September 11 attacks of 2001, the organization has grown to become the country's number one producer of charity auctions and has produced more than one thousand auctions for charities and other nonprofits in its fifteen years of operation. Larry and his wife, Jacqueline Henry, are the parents of three children, Jordan, Cameron, and Taylor. They also enjoy the company of three pugs (Barney, Bella and Bailey) that have been featured three times on The Today Show and two cats. Larry is currently working on his second book, A Career and Life of more than 100 Major Celebrity Encounters.
