Parenting isn't for everyone. Acknowledging your gambit of emotions doesn't make you a bad or irresponsible parent, it makes you human. A man must admit he is in uncharted territory in order to accept the ebbs and flows of fatherhood. This is a safe space for dialogue surrounding parenting and fatherhood.

This book is about an individual's journey as a stay-at-home dad and all things surrounding parenthood. The good, bad and the ugly. So many times we hear the great stories and amazing feelings people have about parenting, but there is another side to parenting that isn't discussed as often, for fear of being alienated or shamed. There are some who never wanted to be a parent and those that once they became a parent feared they may have made a mistake. Parenting isn't for everyone and the emotions surrounding parenting can vary drastically. Acknowledging the gambit of emotions doesn't make you a bad or irresponsible parent, it just makes you human. So I hope that this book will serve as a safe space for all dialogue surrounding parenthood. Whether you love being a parent or whether you question your decision, the conversation should be open, honest, and safe. This book is an attempt at that safe space, I hope that you receive it and embrace it.
