When her brother was tortured and murdered at twenty years old, her view of the world was changed forever. These events and memories reveal secrets, betrayals, obsessions, forgiveness, family traumas, perseverance, tragedies, and triumphs. The anticipation of what terrible things would happen next filled her with the inability to enjoy the good things in her life and also interfered with her ability to make adequate and present-day decisions.
