Kingsley Jones is a UIMLA International Mountain Leader, who has guided trekking and running groups on the Tour du Mont Blanc well over 50 times, and has raced it multiple times in the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) running event. Put in context, he's spent well over a year of his life on the trails of the Tour du Mont Blanc, so knows every step of it. Kingsley divides his time between the Alps and the English Lake District; when not guiding for his company Icicle, he's a mountain rescue volunteer in the Lake District. His personal climbing achievements include all six classic north faces of the Alps, and numerous expeditions around the world. He is an award-winning outdoor writer, having previously published Trail Running - Chamonix and the Mont Blanc Region and Trail and Fell Running in the Lake District.
