Too Soon for Love - Paperback

When Dahlia Jensen's older sister witnesses a murder and is called to testify, the mob boss on trial will do anything to silence her-and her family is already in his sights.

Associate Professor Dahlia Jensen studies lightning, but the spring storms rolling across Colorado's eastern plains are nothing compared to the danger closing in around her. When Army Ranger Jack Trahern appears with an unlikely story-that he promised to protect her until after her sister testifies-Dahlia wants no part of it. Then the uneasy feeling of being watched turns into real threats. Trusting Jack may be the only way to stay alive, even if he's the last man she planned to let close.

Danger escalates with help from Dahlia's critical supervisor-who also happens to be her ex-mother-in-law-and a cunning stalker whose skills rival Jack's. Keeping Dahlia safe is harder than he expected. Harder still is letting go of his own baggage and learning how to stand beside this brilliant, stubborn, irresistible woman who keeps surprising him.

They both know what betrayal costs. They both know better than to risk their hearts again. But with danger pressing closer and sparks flying that neither of them wanted, the threats against Dahlia may not be the only thing they have to survive. It is definitely too soon for love.
