Tobira II: Intermediate Japanese - Paperback

TOBIRA II: Intermediate Japanese is a revised edition of TOBIRA: Gateway to Advanced Japanese (first edition 2009). As part of the comprehensive Japanese "TOBIRA" textbook series, the title has been changed to differentiate the learning levels. The book has been reorganized into two volumes: TOBIRA I: Intermediate Japanese for the first half (LL1-8) and TOBIRA II: Intermediate Japanese for the second half (LL9-15). This book is TOBIRA II: Intermediate Japanese, which covers the second half (LL9-15).

The themes, topics, basic content, vocabulary, kanji, and grammar for each lesson in the previous edition remain unchanged, while information such as the "Reading Passages" has been updated. Additionally, "Can-do" objectives have been newly established for each lesson as clear learning goals. By focusing on developing practical communication skills through a variety of activities and projects, students will enjoyably and effectively acquire the "Five Skills" required in today's Japanese language education: reading, listening, writing, speaking (interaction), and presentation.
