Tickles the Mouse: A Warrenton Tall Tale - Hardcover

C.C. Fuller is a lifelong writer and the owner of an independent bookstore, The Open Book, in Warrenton, Virginia. She has published numerous poems and is working on a full-length novel. This is her first published children's book, although the tradition of telling stories runs through her bloodline as far back as she can go.

When C.C. Fuller's children were small, they referred to the Blue Ridge Mountains as the Blueberry Mountains. As the family would drive over Route 211 heading out of Warrenton, they would "oooh" and "aah" at the site of the blue haze mixing into the atmosphere, creating the magical vision of a mountain range painted blue. "The mountains are full of blueberries!" her children gleefully imagined. And so began the stories of the Wild Blueberry Mountains.
