About the Author
Irene Latham is the winner of the 2016 ILA Lee Bennett Hopkins Promising Poet Award. She is the author of hundreds of poems and nearly twenty current and forthcoming poetry, fiction, and picture books, including Dear Wandering Wildebeest (winner of a Nerdy Book Award and a 2015 NCTE Notable Poetry Book) and Fresh Delicious (winner of a Eureka! Award and a 2017 NCTE Notable Poetry Book. Johanna Wright is a fine artist and illustrator. She has sold thousands of original artwork pieces worldwide. Johanna worked with Sarah Oliphant as a painter of large-scale painted backdrops for the likes of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, and O Magazine. She has authored and illustrated over 10 picture and middle grade books, including the "Top-Secret Diary of Celie Valentine" series and Keep a Pocket in Your Poem: Classic Poems and Playful Parodies.
