About the Author
Bergerie, Maurine: - Maurine Bergerie, a native Iberian, received her BA degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and taught for several years in south Louisiana and Iberia Parish schools before earning her MA at Louisiana State University in 1956. Mrs. Bergerie majored in American History and minored in French.
