About the Author
WILLIAM G. CROOK, M.D. received his medical education and training at the University of Virginia, the Pennsylvania Hospital, Vanderbilt and Johns Hopkins. He was a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Allergy and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy and Alpha Omega Alpha. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and eleven other books. For 15 years he wrote a nationally syndicated newspaper column (General Features and Los Angeles Times Syndicate). Dr. Crook died in 2002.
