According to legend, the WINTERMAKER brings cold, death, and destruction to the world. To Lily Guerin, he is her supernatural foe, an evil spirit lurking under the frozen water of Lake Manitou, waiting to rise from his death. To her granddaughter Nicki Guerin, he's just an embarrassing folktale told by her ancestors to explain the terrible winters in Minnesota. To seventh grader Biff Forsberg, he's a metaphor for the real world monsters-like the serial killer preying upon kids in Hiawatha County.
Having previously faced this evil in 1898, Lily Guerin readies her spiritual warriors, the Isanti Lodge, for the impending battle, but a series of unexpected tragedies cripples the team, giving the servants of the WINTERMAKER access to the ancient magic surrounding Lake Manitou. With the advantage, the Order of Eos unleashes evil upon the lake community in the form of paranormal attacks, cold-blooded killers, and the worst storm in Hiawatha County history.
THE DREAMCATCHER CHRONICLES is a generational battle between good and evil, where the dark deeds of the past shape the present-and the prophecies of the future reach back to influence the past.
