There were many causes and actions which culminated in World War 1. This is a comprehensive look into the causes, the Governments, the politics, and the leaders that were involved in initiating the War to End All Wars. We look at the diplomacy that drew so many countries into the conflict which engulfed much of Europe and changed history forever. Concise, but far-reaching, this book will challenge your thinking and understanding of the real origins of the first of the modern-day wars.

Newbery, Kent: - "KENT NEWBERY was born into a middle-class family in 1952 in country South Australia. He studied pharmacy in Adelaide before returning to the family business in 1974. After a successful career, in the pharmaceutical industry and other ventures, he retired in controversial circumstances in 2021. His professional life came to an end when he was deregistered by the industry body, for comments he made which were critical of World Health Organisation measures brought in to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The research he had done into the operations of the WHO showed his penchant for investigation and learning and this became evident as he increased his reading after retirement, particularly in his favoured genre of military history.Kent's interest in the Great War of 1914 - 1918 led to him investigating the reported causes of the war; reasons which aroused some skepticism. He probed deeper and was so captivated by his findings that, after turning 70, he decided to share his work and publish his first book."
