The Twelve Horses of Christmas: An emotional Christmas novel about horses, family secrets, second chances, and a love that never entirely disappeared. - Paperback

Twelve horses. Twelve second chances. One last Christmas at Mistletoe Farm.

Eve Carlisle has spent twelve years building a life far from the place she once called home. Six months after her mother's death, she returns to Mistletoe Farm with a simple plan: settle the estate, accept a developer's offer and leave before Christmas.

Then she discovers twelve sealed letters, twelve brass nameplates and one final request from her mother: spend a full day with each horse before deciding the farm's future.

From Mistletoe, the elderly cob who still remembers her, to Midnight, a traumatised gelding afraid of men, each horse reveals a different kind of hurt and a different possibility for healing.

But Christmas Eve is drawing closer. The farm's debts are mounting, a hidden sister has stepped out of the past, and long-buried family secrets are leading Eve back towards Noah, the man she once planned to marry.

Noah has never stopped caring for the horses. He may never have stopped caring for Eve. Yet twelve years of silence cannot be undone by nostalgia. Saving Mistletoe Farm will require difficult truths, unexpected compromises and the courage to choose a new future.
