The True Meaning of Trouble - Paperback

At the request of the President, Jim makes his first visit to the White House. The President tells Jim of his concern with the belief, that the deterrence to a Nuclear War was the complete destruction of mankind. The President requested Jim to take the lead in a Top Secret project that could provide an alternative.

From Jim's first interactions with the government, he has a sense of mistrust. Jim's old friend Bob tells Jim he is playing with fire.

While diving the cave that runs under the U.S. Navy's secret base on Andros Island, Jim's ex-navy seals find evidence of someone or thing that was much more advanced than we are. Among other items, the divers locate a door within the cave's side wall that, once inside, opens up a new world of technology. Jim uses these technologies to recover a sphere that was lying on the bottom of the TOTO channel.
