The Townline - Paperback

This novel, set in rural Ontario, follows a young female pastor as she navigates life in her first parish. The young Reverend who has no experience with country living finds herself surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans and by people whose lives follow the seasons of their land and livestock. Her initial intent is to complete the required one year contract and then move on, preferably back to something more urban. She is slowly drawn into the community and the stories of perseverance, love and loss and that envelop her. This is a story of hope, of resilience, of community. It is about discovering a sense of place and the unexpected journey that can lead us home.
