Sutton-Smith, Peter: - Dr Peter Sutton-Smith was born in Adelaide, South Australia. In 1975 he graduated from Flinders University with an honours degree in biological Science. He completed his PhD at Adelaide University in the late 1980's. He was employed as a medical scientist to run medical pathology laboratories which focused on renal (kidney) disease and renal transplantation. This work included involvement with research programs and a teaching role as a higher degree supervisor for post graduate students.He brought this same analytical approach to share market investment. Investing started in the conventional way with financial advisors and managed funds, but this was replaced with self management after experiencing the inflexibility of this approach during the 2002 market downturn. He preferred to make his own investment decisions rather than have a third party involved.For over twenty years he has traded the markets and used the hard won lessons to evolve the management of his retirement account. During the last 15 years he has increasingly incorporated the time principles of DW Gann into his investment decisions.Peter still lives in Adelaide with his wife. They are now comfortably retired on the proceeds of their superannuation which has been greatly enhanced by the knowledge contained in this book.
