In Book 3 of The Gifted of Ada Ev series, it's four years after Paquin Imdarah and Carintha Alanari experience the elevation of their Gifted abilities. The Beloran ask Paq to assemble an elite group of the Gifted. They are asked to help face the challenge of imminent war between two regions who have been at odds for years. Paq leads his Gifted assembly north to find Candon and set negotiations for peace back on track, but he discovers a threat to Ada Ev even more dangerous than warring regions.
