His experience includes nursery plant growing, interior design, landscaping, design seminars, interior/exterior design staging, professional plant container designs, creative permanent floral designs, retail floral shop owner for 32 years, design consultant, author. He has been a member of The American Institute of Floral designers (aifd.org) since 1996, and has contributed to many of their symposiums. Joe continues to mentor the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Ca. student chapter of AIFD with design seminars and critiques of the student design competitions for AIFD years Symposium. His mantra "educate, motivate, and create" is a testament to his passion of the floral industry.
