Kristen L. Depken brings over 10 years of experience writing and editing children's books. She has authored numerous titles including Barbie and the Diamond Castle, All About the Trolls, and We Love to Dance!. She lives in the New York City area with her rescue dog, Ellie.

About the Illustrator

Sue DiCicco is an accomplished author-illustrator of beloved children's storybooks. After studying at Cal Arts and working for Disney as an animator, she opened her own studio in Southern California. She has illustrated multiple Little Golden Books adaptations including The Poky Little Puppy's Wonderful Winter Day, The Poky Little Puppy and the Pumpkin Patch, and several Random House Step into Reading titles including The Poky Little Puppy, Scuffy the Tugboat, The Little Red Caboose, Tootle, Tawny Scrawny Lion, and The Shy Little Kitten's Christmas. She currently resides in Santa Barbara, California.
