The Savage Wild: A Metalwood Adventure - Paperback

Fifty years after the events of The Splinter Soul, the jungle world of Eryn is still learning how to survive. Dragons carve fire from the canopy. Rylak packs rule by tooth and blood. And in the shadows of the Wild, the Eldrim guard ruins older than memory. On this planet, strength is law-and the jungle shows no mercy.

Lysa has spent ten years enslaved by the rylak, fighting each day just to live. She remembers almost nothing of the life she lost-only that someone powerful put her here. When a violent dragon attack shatters her captors' stronghold, she escapes into the unforgiving Wild and stumbles upon Aldaron, a hidden Eldrim city buried beneath the vines.

But Aldaron is not a sanctuary. Something ancient is stirring beneath the ruins-something that does not care whether its victims have fur, flame, or flesh. And unless sworn enemies learn to stand together, every soul on Eryn will be swept into a war far more savage than the jungle itself.
