The Samkhya Sutra Vritti: Or Aniruddha's Commentary And The Original Parts Of Vedantin Mahadeva's Commentary To The Samkhya Sutras (1888) - Paperback

The Samkhya Sutra Vritti is a book written by Richard Garbe in 1888. It contains a commentary by Aniruddha on the Samkhya Sutras, as well as the original parts of Vedantin Mahadeva's commentary on the same text. The Samkhya Sutras are a collection of aphorisms that outline the principles of Samkhya philosophy, which is one of the six major schools of Hindu philosophy. Aniruddha's commentary provides a detailed explanation of each sutra, while Mahadeva's commentary offers a different perspective on the same text. Together, these commentaries provide a comprehensive understanding of the Samkhya Sutras and their place in Hindu philosophy. Garbe's book is an important resource for scholars and students of Hindu philosophy, as well as anyone interested in exploring the rich tradition of Indian thought. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
