Description
The rainbow story is a narrative written and illustrated by children for children. It is a journey into the imagination of a boy and a girl who travel on a rainbow to colorful landscapes and learn words in two different languages. Everyone is invited to ride on the rays of knowledge and to discover the magic of light through poetry, science facts and one simple experiment.
About the Author
They are siblings who love art, science and nature. They also enjoy reading, writing, playing with friends and video games. Omar is 8 years old and Oyuki is 9. Both published a book in August 2018 called "The Rainbow Story" and participated in the 2018 San Diego Festival of Books.Omar and Oyuki have won 1st and 2nd prizes in the Rancho San Diego Library Poetry Contest, as well as special awards and best of show awards for their poems and comic books in the San Diego County fair Creative Youth division. The little authors learn at the elementary level in 3rd and 4th grade.
