Curry-Stevens, Ann: - Ann Curry Stevens, PHD, has been advancing equity and inclusion in regional and city governments, foundations, and organizations for over 30 years. Her many roles include research, evaluation, academic and community education, public speaking, consulting, training, and leading organizations' equity committees. She has left an indelible mark on countless institutions and individuals across Canada and the United States and has been published in numerous scholarly journals., She is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she leads research to improve instructors' abilities to integrate equity and decolonization into their teaching, and with students to assess their efficacy to practice with these same concepts.

Amilah Baksh, MSW, specializes in clinical counselling for young adults from marginalized communities. She is an award winning educator, having developed and delivered graduate courses on the topics of social work, anti racism, and equity for Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo, and Renison University College. She has been a speaker, panelist, and presenter on these topics for a range of universities and organizations and is currently completing her PhD in social work. Her research and her lived experience as an Indo-Caribbean Muslim woman inform her keen analysis of issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
