The Power of the Black Vote: And Government Tactics to Block It - Paperback

Have you ever skipped the voting polls because you felt your vote didn't count? If so, the 2020 election is a testimony to what can happen when blacks and other minorities are determined to make their voices heard.

The Power of the Black Vote: And Government Tactics to Block It identifies tactics, past and present, used by our government to disenfranchise black votes; demonstrates why voting is important; and includes a call to action to register, study the candidates, know your status, and vote.

This book inspires readers to dig deeper into our country's history of racism toward a race of people who merely want to live the "American Dream" as citizens of the United States granted the same rights as everyone else under the Constitution.

This book is for you if:

• You've never exercised your right to vote
• You're not aware of how the Government twists the interpretation of the laws to suppress minority votes
• You're not aware of America's unfortunate history of racism and the long fight for black rights

The right to vote came with a price, and when Blacks do not vote, they are guilty of disenfranchising and silencing their own voices. We need every voice speaking. We need every person to understand that your vote not only matters-your vote is powerful!
