Steve Teare is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Philadelphia. His comics and drawings have appeared in The New Yorker, Believer Magazine, The Nib, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and elsewhere. He also runs a whimsical pet portrait business year-round, and he lives with his wife, daughter, and dog. Ed Simon lives in Pittsburgh and is the editor of Belt Magazine and a staff writer for The Millions. A contributor at dozens of different sites, his work has appeared in, among others, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Paris Review, Jacobin, McSweeney's, Aeon, The New Republic, Lapham's Quarterly, JSTOR Daily, and The Washington Post. He is the author of over a dozen books, including Pandemonium: An Illustrated History of Demonology and An Alternative History of Pittsburgh.
