Morton, Jett: - Jett Morton is an avid typewriter collector and historian. His passion began at a yard sale around the young age of seven. He stumbled upon a machine with a keyboard, reminiscent of a modern computer, except this keyboard had no accompanying monitor. This marvel of engineering was of course a typewriter, and that typewriter went home with him that day. In due time, more typewriters, most late 20th-century models, were acquired. Over the years, as Jett's typewriter collection grew, so did his involvement with the typewriter community. It wasn't until he walked past an antique store in his home state of West Virginia that an unusual typewriter displayed in the window caught Jett's eye-an Oliver No. 9. After amassing hundreds of typewriters manufactured by dozens of long-gone typewriter brands, Jett began refining his collection to specialize in one specific brand: Oliver. This set him on a path to procuring every model and variation of typewriter manufactured or licensed by the Oliver Typewriter Company. He is well known among the typewriter community for his vast knowledge and research of the company and its founder, Thomas Oliver. Jett is also an electrical engineer, entrepreneur, and rapper. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their cat, Lola.
