Description
A worldwide pestilence has turned out to be the most peaceful time in Mickey Butts's life. For the ex-detective, now True Crime writer, lockdown involves lazy mornings with his beautiful wife, lots of time to work on his next bestseller, and absolutely no mention whatsoever of his "one who got away"- the lone serial killer Mickey failed to catch who still haunts his hometown and his nightmares... But naturally, the peace doesn't last. With the deadly blood vomiting virus making things look like the end of the world is near, the Muskoka Murderer has decided it's time for a murdering finale. Mickey's old friend, Captain Gupta of the Muskoka Police, calls to ask for his help as the bodies start piling up once again. Mickey heads back to Muskoka, where he teams up with old friends and new allies to put the Muskoka Murderer behind bars for good.
