He has been a principal scientist on an EU research project investigating EU governance and agri-environmental policy, and is coordinating a project on innovation in European agriculture and policy-making. Has held visiting scientist posts at the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford, Bonn, Warsaw. Julian Clark has held a number of posts including research associate at the Institute of European Environmental Policy in London, Committee Specialist to the House of Commons Select Committ for Agriculture.
