In The Missionary Spirit Jerry Ireland explores the history of mission activity in Pentecostalism, and argues for a return to its early emphasis on the need to engage in cross-cultural evangelism, as opposed to a broader, more amorphous understanding of Pentecostal missiology as "everything that God is doing in the world."
