In 1928, Captain Carranza set his goals in the The Goodwill Flight. Once completed his flight from Mexico City to Washington, DC the young wouldn't fly back in the middle of a bad storm if it wasn't for a telegram from General Amaro ordering to go back to Mexico immediately. His plane crashed shortly after he departed. Thanks to the Legion Post of Mount Holly, NJ every first weekend of July, there's a ceremony in memory of The Mexican Lindbergh.
