The Mathematics of Ultra-High Frequencies in Radio. Brown University Advanced Instruction and Research in Mechanics Summer, 1943 - Hardcover

""The Mathematics of Ultra-High Frequencies in Radio"" is a book written by Leon Brillouin, which focuses on the advanced instruction and research in mechanics during the summer of 1943 at Brown University. It delves into the mathematics behind the transmission and reception of radio waves at ultra-high frequencies, which were becoming increasingly important for military and civilian communication during World War II. The book covers topics such as wave propagation, antennas, and transmission lines, and provides mathematical models and equations to aid in the understanding of these concepts. It is a valuable resource for students and researchers in the field of radio communication, and provides insight into the early developments of this technology. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
