Shaldjian, Janice M.: - Janice M. Shaldjian has BA in Business Management with a minor in English from Arizona State University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. She is a retired high school teacher of Armenian descent with 3 grandchildren. This book was written in honor of her grandparents who survived the Armenian Genocide death marches in 1915. Janice grew up hearing stories of starving Armenians, many of whom were children. One of her strongest childhood memories was that her grandfather always insisted the children be served first
