The Madman Manifesto - Paperback

Written in the grip of addiction. Surviving to tell the story.

You know what it feels like to wear a smile that hides everything. You have played the part so long that no one sees the storm beneath the surface. The cravings, the shame, the silent prayers you are not sure anyone hears. You wonder if you are too far gone, too broken, too lost to ever find your way back. The world sees a front man. You know the truth.

The Madman Manifesto is a raw, unflinching collection of poetry written from inside the chaos of meth-induced psychosis and active addiction. Michael J. Keefer lays bare the fractured mindset of a man caught between heaven and hell, between surrender and survival. These poems do not romanticize the struggle. They live in it. From rock bottom to fragile hope, from self-destruction to spiritual reckoning, every verse pulses with the urgent honesty of someone fighting to reclaim his mind, his faith, and his identity. This is not poetry written in hindsight. It was forged in the fire.

Inside these pages, you will find:

- An unfiltered glimpse into psychosis, addiction, and the daily war for sobriety

- A spiritual journey through guilt, grace, loss, and the search for meaning

- A mirror for anyone who has ever felt alone in their darkest moments

If you have ever lost yourself and wondered whether the road back exists, this book is proof that you are not alone. The mind can be lost, but it can also be found.
