THE LOOP:

Hamm is dead. Dooley had been counting on him but now Hamm's bleeding out on the floor with a bullet in his chest. So Dooley decides to take over. Somewhere in Chicago's Loop a big knockover is being planned. Dooley doesn't know where or when, but he knows it's going to happen. That much Hamm was sure about.

So Dooley puts together a team-Skip, the collegiate-looking pimp; Shamus, the ex-cop turned tail-artist; and Doc Pace and his son Chuck, a couple of crooked car salesmen. Dooley knows that Mike Ivans is the guy to watch. His crew, in particular his gunman Goggles, are probably behind Hamm's killing. All he has to do is figure out who Ivans is planning to hit... then be ready to knock him over as soon as he gets it!

Jimmy Devore works for Gordon Minot as his chief of security. Keeping the millionaire safe is a full-time job, leaving him no time for his girlfriend, Eve. Which complicates Jimmy's life because he's also attracted to Minot's daughter, Jean. Then Jimmy figures out that someone might be trying to kill the boss. He's got his suspicions, but trouble is, Minot just doesn't believe him. Nor does Eve when he tries to explain why-with all his chasing after one lead and another--he's always late. Then the bullets start to fly.
