In addition to writing, she absolutely loves her family and being outside, connecting with nature. She and her family live in the foothills of Northern California. Susan Sorensen has been an artist all her life and an art teacher since finishing college. She has an eye for detail, which shows in her art. Susan loves helping others care for their mental health using art, so much so that she is writing a book about using drawing for brain care. Susan has discovered that everyone wants to make marks with a marking tool and that it satisfies a need we are born with.
