The Latin text narrates the story of a dean from the church of Saint Gunlyu who faces the challenge of an unjust land claim made by a layman. As the appointed day for resolving the dispute approaches, the dean, having attended a royal feast, is filled with dread over the potential loss of the land. Undeterred, he embarks on a perilous journey through inclement weather, invoking the protection of Saint Gunlyu. His journey leads him to a miraculous crossing of a divine river, and upon his arrival, he successfully claims the land for the church through judicial decree.
