She went on as a journalist for area newspapers and published reference non fiction books before breaking into fiction with her collection of dark fantasy novels. Sonnenberg is an avid member of the horror industry as a writer and actor, having a background in the haunted house industry. She has merged her worlds together in a unique style of marketing, known for making costumes and appearing at conventions and events as her original characters. Her creations have won costume contests and her books have won Dark Fiction and Best Horror character Awards, and she was a Readers' Choice runner up for the award in Dark Fiction. She has consistently been a nominee for Orlando Weekly's "Best of Orlando" annual feature for "Best Local Author" and has placed 2nd. Jackie lives in Orlando, FL where she is surrounded by creativity and Imagination.
