Details: Worldwide CD debut! Two CD set. The Incredible String Band was a folk duo from Edinburgh/Glasgow, Scotland who formed in 1966. They built a large following within the British counterculture before splitting up in 1974. Members Mike Heron and Robin Williamson were musical pioneers in psychedelic folk. They integrated a wide variety of traditional music forms and instruments, in the development of world music. The group reformed in 1999 and continued to perform until 2006. Relics is a two disc compilation of their best Elektra recordings and was originally released in 1971.
