Clive Palmer left the group after the first album, resurfacing at a later date to form C. O. B. Mike Heron and Robin Williamson continued as a duo; The 5000 Spirits… made the UK Top 30 albums while The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter was a UK Top 5 album, spending nearly six months on the charts, and also made the US Top 200. Heron and Williamson are still gigging and recording.
