The Hero's Right Hand - Paperback

Kargon isn't the chosen one; and he couldn't be happier. Aisha, his best friend, suits the role of Hero far better. But drawing the sword from stone carries the heavy weight of expectations. Ones that can't be faced alone. If joining her adventure is what Kargon has to do, he's happy to oblige. But such a lifestyle has many dangers two small town soldiers aren't ready for.

Thankfully, the road ahead is filled with allies. Though an amnesiac elf, retired paladin, and newborn owlbear weren't either of the duo's first choice. With their help, it might be possible to figure out what's threatening their home. But every lead uncovers dangerous revelations no one is prepared to face. They'll have to tap into their pasts for clues on how to face the future. Getting out unscathed-mentally or physically-is a dream best forgotten. But that's the life of an adventurer.
