The Golden Codex - Paperback

When the young Piers Ralston starts his first job at a mysterious antique store, he unwittingly triggers the transmutation of a codex bearing the wisdom of the three worlds. From that moment on, he fights abduction by a shadowy sect, struggles with his desire for a normal life, and completes a course of seven arcane conjunctions. The inner strength he gains prepares him for an otherworldly race and its promise of freedom. Piers' personal story is one of constant vigilance, always aware that slavers from another cosmos are intent on taking him away from normality across a transcosmic gate to Sunara, an alien yet evocative universe, culture, and language.
